Madison Fiedler is a playwright from North Carolina. Her play SPAY (script + licensing available with Concord Theatricals) premiered at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble in 2022, was awarded the 2023 M. Elizabeth Osborn Award by the American Theatre Critics Association, and was honored as a nominee for the 2022 Jeff Award for Best New Work and the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, runner-up for the Princess Grace Awards Playwriting Fellowship and Jane Chambers Playwriting Award, and finalist for the Harold and Mimi Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award; it also appeared on the Kilroys List and in the National Showcase of New Plays. Recent productions + readings of her work have been seen at Ars Nova, American Lives Theatre, Studio Theatre, Bedlam, tall poPpy/Atlantic Theater Company, + Westport Country Playhouse. Residencies & conferences: Willapa Bay AiR, Roundabout Theatre Company’s Space Jam and Sewanee Writers’ Conference. She’s a proud member of the Dramatists Guild. BA: Northwestern University. She lives in Brooklyn.
